Yoga with Katherine at the EPL

NEW: Yoga at the Library: Mondays at 10am

Flexibility, Strength, and Stress Relief

We are so excited to host yoga instructor Katherine Meek on Mondays from 10:00-11:00ish. This is going to be a gentle and healthy way to take care of your body while focusing on flexibility, strength and stress relief! Please feel free to commit to the first 6-week session or drop in whenever you are able!

Time: Mondays at 10am
Cost:
$5/per session; drop-ins welcome!

What to Bring

Dress in comfortable layers. Mats, blocks and blankets will be available. Please bring anything else you find helpful in your practice (bolster, pillow, journal, etc). If you have questions about the class, contact Katherine at HappySomatics@gmail.com


About the Instructor

Katherine Meek, Yoga InstructorKatherine Meek specializes in Slow Flow Yoga for Stress Relief. She is drawn to the healing power of yoga. A problem solver by nature, she is keen on developing wellness solutions involving movement and self expression. A Marine veteran, Katherine understands first hand the effects of stress on the mind and body, and is eager to support those on a healing journey.

When she’s not teaching yoga, Katherine enjoys forest bathing, sprint workouts, reading, and learning alongside her three young children.

Katherine is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teachee. She has an additional 100-hour certification in trauma sensitive yoga, and a certification in applied polyvagal theory in therepeutic yoga. She is currently pursuing a 100-hour certification in yoga for brain health.
